Studio X is a space for intimate, unfiltered photography, free from the noise and content demands of the infinite scroll. It embraces authenticity, imperfection, and the raw fundamentals of image-making—light, composition, and subject. Each session is a collaboration, built on trust, experimentation, and the desire to create something that feels as alive as the person in front of the lens. Sessions are offered at no cost and are extremely limited. Sessions take place in downtown Montreal, in a minimal, white-washed loft rich in character, texture, and natural light. With over 15 years behind the lens, Steven Audia approaches photography as a form of creative expression—honest, instinctual, and deeply personal. What began as a passion with a simple point-and-shoot has evolved into a refined art form, grounded in authenticity and collaboration. His work explores the human form and spirit, capturing raw, unfiltered beauty with a focus on vulnerability, empowerment, and individuality. Moving away from cliché representations of the body, Steven creates imagery that feels genuine, unposed, and deeply personal. As a gay photographer, Steven fosters a safe and welcoming space, particularly for SWs, women, and queer individuals, allowing them to feel confident and truly seen. Each shoot is a partnership—an energetic exchange between artist and subject—where both contribute to the final vision. Steven’s work has been featured in publications, online platforms, and exhibitions.
